
I love Valentine’s Day.
I love intentionality around love. ALL kinds of love! Self, romantic, friendship, coworkers and community.
So here are some of the things I am excited to share I’m doing to celebrate the day that aren’t chocolates, flowers and candy though I am eating some treats.
Intentional time with coworkers, setting aside time to appreciate one another and express that care.
Caring for myself
today I am sure to meditate, workout, take the dog for a longer walk, eat some good meals, dance it out to music and enjoy things mindfully.
Reaching Out
If you have texted with me recently you got some love today. I dare you to send out at least one I admire about you… I appreciate this… I love you text, message or phone call today.
Spreading kindness to community
I’m trying to keep this simple, complimenting strangers (on things they can control like how warm they are, saying thank you, or a simple smile), and writing this blog to try to spread some love.
Accepting help
I booked a massage appointment, went to therapy, danced with amazing people at Qoya class, and asking friends and family for the things they can help out with.
Go Ahead and Love Yourself and those who are safe to share your love with!
